"To me, he's like another species," the "Modern Family" star (who, by the way, is no slouch herself) said during a visit to TODAY Tuesday. "I look at him, and it's likeI feel like I am like in the movie 'E.T.' Remember? When an alien lands ... and I'm the one who gets to play with it."
The pair have been together since this past summer, and at 42, Vergara's enjoying being the ever-so-slightly older woman to her 37-year-old beau.
"I can't complain," she said, putting her hands on her hips and swaying. "I'm 42, girls!"
That intrigued TODAY's Jenna Bush Hager, who asked, "When I turn 42, I too could have him?"
"Not him!" laughed Vergara.
